The Ultimate Guide to Gain Massive Followers: How to Gain 100 Followers in Only 5 Years
A guaranteed way to earn $1 per month as passive income
I subscribed in May 2018 and have been actively writing stories ever since. Publishing at least 2 stories per year. Check out my subscriber growth below, and read further if you want to reach it in the coming 5 years.
The methodology
It might seem impossible, as 100 is a massive number! To put it in perspective, 100 years ago, we were living in a world without band-aid.
The Band-Aid was invented by a Johnson & Johnson employee, Earle Dickson, in Highland Park, New Jersey, for his wife Josephine, who frequently cut and burned herself while cooking — source.
Consistency
You can’t expect your followers to grow without being consistent. Some writers choose to publish new stories frequently, often with little success. I would suggest the opposite. My success came through consistently delaying new stories from seeing the light of day. This builds suspense and ensures your audience never knows what to expect or when.
Hard work
To reach success, you have to be willing to work hard. Grindset is the mindset! It is easy to come up with a great idea to write about. The hardest part is constantly delaying the process. It is essential to fight that burning urge to get the idea out of your head and free up some mental space.
Aging
Like a good wine or whiskey, you should give your stories enough time to properly mature to develop body, flavour, and complexity. The longer you keep a story in draft mode, the more critical you will become, and the higher the quality will get.
If you delay it for a few years, you will ensure that it misses the trend and noise from other lesser-wise writers with worse ideas. The best time to publish is when your story is no longer relevant.
Don’t pick a lane
Restricting yourself to one genre will limit your audience and reach. Change it up and write about anything and everything. Your followers will appreciate the diversity, and it will ensure they come back for more. As a writer, it is your responsibility to broaden the interest of your readers.
Marketing is bad
People are smart enough to find your stories by searching for the title. Google introduced paged results over 20 years ago, in September 1999. By now, everyone should be accustomed to browsing through pages when searching for something. Marketing on social media is useless and will draw the wrong people to your remarkable ideas.
Language don’t matter
It is annoying to read a well-structured story, with perfect grammar, and no typos. This will make your audience doubt their intelligence and understanding of the language. Your stories should read like it was written on the door of a dodgy bar’s bathroom door to gain the most traction.
Don’t follow the advice of other writers
This might seem ironic since you are breaking this rule at the moment. Trust in yourself. You know more than the other writers trying to earn a passive income. By not following the advice of others, you will differentiate yourself from the rest and become a lot more successful.
Following this methodology has served me so well over the years that I was compelled to share it with the community. Finally, constantly check your stats. The more you refresh, the higher your chances of growth!
